To activate your account and get your sign-up bonus, you must scan a receipt from within the last 14 days. When you scan receipts, you can get bonus points for buying certain items, too. And they take all receipts including the ones from restaurants and gas stations. So don’t throw away your receipts. They’re worth money!
Fetch Rewards is my favorite way to earn free gift cards because not only can you get your reward instantly, but their referral program is incredible. They always give 2,000 points for each referral, but they often give bonuses for referrals. It is not uncommon to get 7,000 points for every two referrals, that’s $7! - Searching the internet
- Answering surveys
- Printing coupons
- Scanning receipts
- Referring friends and family
Basically, they give you a bunch of ways to earn those points. They even have a live online gameshow, Swagbucks Live, that has a separate app. With Swagbucks Live, you can answer trivia questions and earn even more points. Plus, Swagbucks often has sales where you can use less points than you normally would to get a gift card.
When you are ready to cash out for your reward, you can expect to wait a few days for them to send the reward to your email. But, the fact that they have so many ways to get rewards, and so many reward options, they remain one of the best ways to get free gift cards.
4. MYPOINTS
While MyPoints doesn’t have gift cards specifically for gaming, they do have options for gift cards that can be used almost anywhere, including:

MyPoints is not just an app, but they also have a website. You can earn points that can be cashed out for free gift cards. Ways to earn points include:
