EBT food delivery does exist!
In the past, it was a pain to find food delivery that accepts EBT. Luckily, stores realized they were losing customers by not accepting EBT for food delivery, and pickup. No need to keep scouring the internet for “find EBT food delivery near me.” Right here, is a list of stores that will bring the food to you, even when you pay with EBT:
Amazon
Amazon has recently started doing EBT food delivery. They have three platforms for which you can choose to get your food. These Amazon options include:
- Amazon – This has larger boxes of everyday foods such as cereal, and canned goods.
- Pantry – This has regular sized boxes and packages of everyday items.
- Fresh – This has more grocery options such as meat, milk, and bread.
All three of these options have no delivery fee (not including the tip), if you are an Amazon Prime member. And orders can be placed on Amazon.com or in the Amazon app. Plus, you can get your food delivered as soon as within a few hours.
TIP: EBT cardholders can get an Amazon Prime membership for $5.99/month. That’s half price! Sign up here.
I recorded my first Amazon Fresh food delivery experience. To see how it went, you can watch it here.

Hopefully, companies such as Instacart, Target, and others will begin to allow EBT food delivery. Paying with food stamps shouldn’t exclude anyone form getting the services that are available.
