Get your $$$ from Rakuten!
I’ve decided to update you all on my favorite cash back app, Rakuten. There is NO CATCH! Rakuten is a hub that connects you to your favorite stores’ websites. Just for going to those sites through Rakuten, you get a percentage of your purchase back.
I have seen cash back up to 20%! I just got back $90.66 for purchases I made in the last 90 days! Instead of waiting for a check in the mail, I opted to get my money via Paypal. I just looked and saw that my total earnings are over $930 since joining.

How it works:
- Sign up at Rakuten.com.
- Search for your favorite store. There is even an in-store cash back option for many stores if you link a credit card.
- For online cash back, use one of the links available to get to your store. (They might even have a promo code for a discount, too!)
- That’s it!
Your money will be accumulated. And cash back is paid every 3 months (in February, May, August, and November). The cut-off for each cash back payment ends the month prior. For example, payment in May is for cash back accumulated in February-April.
Now, if you opt to get cash back in the form of a gift card, they will give you BONUS cash back. If you opt for this gift card instead of a cash payment, they offer an additional percentage (I’ve seen up to 20% bonus) cash back on the gift card. And if you opt for the cash payment, the money comes via check in the mail, or it can be directly deposited into your Paypal account, which is much faster.
