Are you an excellent communicator, have great phone skills, and want the flexibility to work from home, be your own boss, and make your own hours?
Whether you are looking for a main or a side hustle, Liveops may be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
What is Liveops?
Liveops is a virtual contact center that contracts with independent agents to provide contact center and sales services for different companies. And availability is often at large, well-known brands you use!
Contracted agents control their own hours, and essentially how much money they make.
As a single mom, I can appreciate a great opportunity with a flexible schedule.
Liveops agents provide services to companies in a variety of categories including:
- Healthcare
- Retail
- Insurance
- Utilities
- And more!
What are the benefits of becoming a Liveops agent?
Some benefits of contracting with Liveops include:
- Flexible hours (you set your own schedule)
- Working from a convenient place (even home!)
- Free certification
- A supportive network of other independent agents
- A chance to work with reputable brands you love!
You can be your own boss.
Since Liveops contracts independent agents, you would be your own boss if you become an agent.
Just keep in mind, while individual contractors often have more flexibility than an employee, you’d also be responsible for your own taxes. So be sure to keep track of your accounting.
You choose when, what client to service, and how much to work. You can set your schedule as a virtual call center agent. With time blocks as small as 30 minutes!
How can I become a Liveops agent?
The process to join Liveops is straightforward:
- Visit the Liveops website and check eligibility requirements.
- Submit an application to an available opportunity.
- Pass the background check ($24.99).
- Finish the application process and select your client match!
The background check typically takes 1-3 days to complete. You would get a copy of the results and Liveops would, too.
And you can move on to certification!
Is Liveops legit?
Liveops is a legitimate company that is accredited by the Better Business Bureau. They have an A+ rating!
How much do Liveops agents get paid?
As a Liveops agent, your earnings would depend upon your performance and how many calls you take.
Some clients will pay per talk minute, which is typically between 25 cents and 34 cents. Some will pay a commission. And some will pay bonuses in addition to the talk minutes.
Ultimately, the more calls you do, the more money you can make.
How do Liveops agents get paid?
Liveops agents are paid by check or direct deposit.
As independent contractors, agents must create invoices to request payment.
To create invoices, Liveops agents use a platform called Openforce.
Do Liveops agents need experience?
Liveops provides certification to new independent contractor agents. So, don’t let lack of experience deter you from applying.
Liveops also provides a community for virtual agents to interact with each other called, Liveops Nation.
Having the support of others within Liveops Nation can help agents make connections, learn from others, and excel in their duties.
What equipment do Liveops agents need?
It would be helpful to have a USB headset, as most Liveops opportunities require one. Sometimes opportunities may require a cell phone.
A laptop or desktop computer with a wired internet connection is also needed. Wireless connectivity isn’t secure, therefore it isn’t allowed.
More equipment details are outlined on the Liveops website.
