20 side hustles from home…
1. Online Influencer
Many brands will pay influencers to feature their products. Become an Online Influencer to make great money and get free products. This pays so well that it can be a full-time income. Often, Influencers use a platform such as Instagram to show off the product.
To find brands to collaborate with, a great option is Vimma. It is an AI messenger/website that you can link with your Instagram and it will suggest brands to collaborate with via Messenger. Plus, it tells ways to grow your Instagram followers.
Vimma has a free membership option, or you can get more features when joining as a paid member. Even the free version is very helpful.
2. Teach Online
There are companies that will pay you to work from home and teach online. Companies like VIP Kid and QKids are just a couple of them. They need people to teach English to children. The jobs pay about $25/hour. And you don’t even need teaching experience.
You can find both of these teaching options and more in the JobGet app. It’s a free platform with an abundance of side hustle options.
3. Surveys
Be lazy and make money. Doing online surveys is an easy way to make some extra money. Great options for paid surveys include MyPoints, Swagbucks. With both of these platforms, you can do surveys, and even watch videos, play games, and more. And they will give you points that can be redeemed for free gift cards including Visa gift cards and money via PayPal.
InboxDollars is another great one that pays cash for doing surveys. Be sure to use the links and you can great some great bonuses!
4. Start A YouTube Channel
My PRIMARY income is from my YouTube channel! There is a reason why so many people have YouTube channels. That’s because it is a great option for a passive income.
Once your YouTube channel is monetized, you can make money from your ad revenue while you sleep. You will need 4,000 watch hours and 1,000 subscribers to become monetized. Be sure to check out my post on How To Make Money On YouTube to find the best ways to make money faster on YouTube.
Keep in mind, that using affiliate links is another great way to make money on YouTube. (More on that in tip #9).
5. Unboxing Videos
Did you know you can get paid and get free stuff for making videos trying new products? Yup! Businesses will pay for short videos of users unboxing and reviewing products.
You don’t need a YouTube channel to do this. A great option is to list a gig on Fiverr offering to review products. Many people are charging $100 or more to do this service.
6. Rent Your Stuff
People will pay to use your stuff! You can charge people $20/day or more for using your items on a platform called FatLlama. Items that get the most money are electronics like laptops or cameras.
FatLlama will put insurance on your item while it is being rented. So, if it’s broken, it can be replaced.
7. Test Websites
Websites will pay you to review the usability of their platforms. They will typically ask for a video (5-15 minutes) with the user narrating their use of the websites.
There is a platform, Userbrain, that will pay $3 for each video of a website test. Userbrain is one of the many side hustle options that can be found on JobGet.
8. Test and Review Products
You can get paid to test products without having to record a video about them. Reviewing products is one of the best side hustles from home because you can keep the items you review, which can save you money on your monthly expenses. Options often include beauty products, household items, toys, and more.
DealsBank is a great platform for testing products. They will allow you to write paid posts about products, test Amazon and Walmart products and get reimbursed for the purchase in exchange for a review, and even refer friends and get paid.
DealsBank is free to use, and definitely comes in handy when you plan to make purchases on Amazon or Walmart. I often check DealsBank when looking for new stuff to buy. It saves me lots of money! Be sure to check out my DealsBank video to learn more about this awesome website.
9. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate Marketing allows you to tell others about products and services and make money by placing links to the products for others to purchase. The best places to post the links are a blog, social media, and YouTube. It is a great way to make a passive income.
To get affiliate links, I prefer to use platforms like BrandCycle. You can sign up with them and they have links to hundreds of retailers that will allow you to earn money when people use your link to shop on the retailer’s website.
Another way to get affiliate links is by going to a company’s website, and many times they will have a link to sign up for their affiliate program. This can be tedious, which is why I prefer to use BrandCycle.
10. Gaming
Getting paid to play video games is a real thing. Sign up for Twitch and/or start a YouTube channel, and let people pay to watch you play video games.
11. Online Companion
Get paid to talk to people online. There are people that are elderly or disabled that are stuck at home with no one to talk to. Some companies such as Papa will pay you to be a companion to them. Check out the JobGet app for options.
12. Graphic Design
If you are a creative person, this is one of the side hustles from home you can really enjoy. People need services such as logo design, YouTube thumbnails created, and much more. Offering your services on platforms like Fiverr will allow you to do these gigs on your own time and set your own prices. It’s a great way to get paid to be creative.
13. Audiobook Narration
Audiobook narration and voiceover jobs are more great ways to earn a passive income. I landed two audiobook contracts on my first audition on ACX. I have shared my journey in these YouTube videos.
On ACX.com, users can find books for which they would like to narrate, submit an audition, and if chosen, they will record (and usually produce) the audiobook which would then be listed on Audible and iTunes. If you sign a royalty deal, as I did, you can make a passive income on the sales of the audiobook for seven years!
You can learn more about How To Become An Audiobook Narrator in this post.
14. Freelance Writing
Freelance writing is great for those that are good at typing and have information to share. You can write guest posts for blogs, magazines, and more.
Many people make a full-time income from freelance writing. Upwork is a great place to find freelance jobs.
15. Dropshipping
Dropshipping is one of the best side hustle from home to sell products. There is no need to keep stock at your location. Dropshopping companies do that for you. Many content creators, especially YouTubers, will sell their merchandise on platforms like TeeSpring.
TeeSpring can print your logos, images, etc. on items like t-shirts, mugs, socks, and more. The items are made when customers order, and TeeSpring will dropship (ship directly to the customer).
Dropshipping frees up time and space. And it’s a great money maker.
16. Virtual Assistant
A Virtual Assistant can work from home and do the work of a secretary, create presentations, or may have other duties. This has the potential of being a full-time job that can be done from home.
There are many other Virtual Assistant, and other side hustles available on the JobGet app.
17. Online Courses
Online courses are popping up everywhere. That’s because it’s one of the best side hustles from home.
You can create courses to teach others about pretty much anything, and make a passive income. Often courses include video, written lessons, and even tests.
Platforms like Teachable can allow you to easily create an online course, post it for as low as $29/month, and start making money.
18. Write An E-Book
Just like with online courses, writing an e-book allows you to make money by teaching others. Except, with an ebook, you can have a guide as small as a few pages, and post it on platforms like Amazon so people can buy it.
It’s definitely a great passive income option.
19. Answer Questions
You can get paid to answer questions as an expert. JustAnswer pays about $20-$50 per question answered. And PrestoExperts pays $2/minute to answer questions.
Specialties include plumbing, law, medical, and so much more. If you are an expert at something, put your knowledge to work, and make money.
20. Transcription
Have you ever gone to check your voicemail and saw the written version of the message before you listen? Or have you seen closed captions on television and videos? A transcriptionist may have typed that.
Transcription is needed to have a written version of videos and audio. Many YouTubers need this service for their channels. Even larger companies, such as television networks need it too.
Sites like TranscribeMe will typically pay $15-$22 per hour for transcripts. So, if you can type, transcription may be a great option for you.
These side hustles from home are just the tip of the iceberg. You can find more options on my side hustles page and on my YouTube channel.
